Tomasu Old Fashioned

Ingredients

• 60 ml bourbon 
• 5ml Sweet Soy sauce
• 10 ml sugar syrup
• 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 orange twist for garnish
• ice for chilling
• ice for seving 

Utilities

• Mixing glass
• Mixing spoon
• Strainer
• glass (chilled)

Preperation Old Fashioned

1. In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, Sweet Soy Sauce, and simple syrup. Add a few ice cubes and stir until well-chilled.
2. Add 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters and stir briefly to incorporate.
3. Strain the mixture over a large ice cube in a chilled glass.
4. Garnish with an orange twist, expressing the oils over the drink before dropping it in.

 Notes:

Rim the glass with a mix of crushed smoked salt and brown sugar for an extra umami-sweet contrast.
