Bloody Mary with Tomasu

Ingredients

  • 120 ml tomato juice
  • 40 ml vodka
  • 15 ml Tomasu Sweet Spicy Soy Sauce
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 dash of hot sauce (find one you like)
  • 3 grinds black pepper
  • Ice

Garnish

  • Nori seaweed strip

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Tall glass
  • Ice (for shaking and glass)

Preparation:

Fill glass with ice and set aside. In a shaker, combine vodka, tomato juice, Tomasu Sweet Spicy Soy Sauce, lemon juice, hot sauce and black pepper.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake  for about 20 seconds. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a strip of nori and serve immediately.

Notes:

  • Adjust hot sauce to your preferred level of spiciness.
  • You can experiment with adding a dash of sesame oil for extra depth.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace vodka with additional tomato juice or vegetable broth.
