Espresso Martini with Tomasu

"Where Coffee meets soy"

Ingredients

Espresso martini (one serving)

  • 25 ml coffee liqueur
  • 50 ml (vanilla) vodka
  • 50ml espresso
  • 10 ml Tomasu Sweet Soy Sauce
  • 10 ml sugar syrup
  • Ice (to shake)

Garnish

  • Coffee beans

Utensils 

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Martini glass (chilled)

Preparation

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Too little ice does not create a good foam layer and makes your cocktail watery. Add vodka, chilled espresso, coffee liqueur, Tomasu Sweet&Spicy Soy sauce and sugar syrup to the shaker.

Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to ensure all ingredients are well combined and chilled. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.

Optional: Garnish with black sesame seeds floating on top. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes: 

Adjust the soy sauce and simple syrup to taste. You may want to start with less soy sauce and add more if desired. For a sweeter drink, increase the sugar syrup.
