Sticky caramel onions

Ingredients
- 8 onions
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp Tomasu Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp water
- Pepper and salt to taste
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 185 degrees. Peel the onions and cut them in half. Place them on a baking tray or baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Mix the sugar, honey, olive oil, soy sauce, sesame oil and water together in a measuring cup or in a cup. The oil and water will never mix well, but if the honey and sugar have dissolved, it is fine.
Sprinkle the mixture over the onions and add salt and pepper to taste. Mix this well so that the onions are completely coated.
Bake the onions in the oven for about 30 minutes until they are nice and sticky and lightly caramelized.
